What a realistic Webflow migration looks like
Most migrations fall into one of two camps: rebuild (take the design and rewrite everything in Webflow from scratch) or mirror (match the existing design pixel-for-pixel). Rebuilds take longer but leave you with a cleaner site; mirrors ship faster but preserve design debt.
Preserving SEO during migration
The biggest migration risk is losing organic rankings. A clean migration includes a full redirect map (301 from every old URL to its closest Webflow equivalent), preserved meta titles and descriptions, preserved structured data, and a sitemap resubmission on launch day.
